Terms of Use

What are the terms for using htxsellmyhouse.com?

The figures on this site are public records and estimates. They are not offers to buy, not appraisals and not legal advice. HTX Sell My House is not your real estate agent, attorney or appraiser. Texas law governs these terms.

What this means for you

Use this site to learn. Do not rely on a figure here as the price of your property or as legal advice. Check the source, get at least two numbers, and ask your own attorney before you sign anything with us or anyone else.

What the figures are

Figures come from public records, such as the Harris Central Appraisal District and the City of Houston, and from reports we cite. Each carries its source and the date we read it. Public records change, and a figure can be out of date or wrong. An appraisal value is not a sale price, an asking price is not a sale price, and a reported sale we could not confirm is labeled as reported.

Who we are and are not

HTX Sell My House is owned by Susan Bouchard and Alex Bouchard. We are not real estate agents and we do not list or market your house. On some deals we are the buyer. On others a builder is the buyer. Because we may be the buyer, we are not neutral. We tell you in writing, before you sign, who the buyer is.

Using the site and the form

Send the form only for a property you own or are authorized to sell. Give true information. Sending the form does not create a contract. A contract exists only when you and a buyer sign one.

You agree we may call or email you about your property. We text you only if you agree to texts on the form. The privacy page explains how we handle what you send.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
